02
Your organisation's proposal should include:
Clear goals and objectives of the project
Process for how the project will be executed and a clear timeline
Key performance indicators (KPIs) and project deliverables
A breakdown of the budget you need and how you intend to use it to execute the project
A supporting letter on headed paper from your organisation, which endorses or provides authorisation for the application for funding
03
All applications submitted must be in English.
04
Up to two applications from the same organisation can be submitted. Each application must be for separate projects and have no common project team members.
An expert panel of clinicians, patient organisation representatives and Amicus stakeholders will evaluate the applications and make decisions concerning successful proposals. A detailed list of inclusion and exclusion criteria can be found in the FAQs.
Evaluation criteria
Applications should clearly reflect the below criteria:
Innovative
A creative and original idea that offers a new solution or approach to solving a problem or fulfilling an unmet need. It challenges conventional thinking and can lead to breakthroughs in processes or systems.
Scalable
An idea that has the potential to grow and expand efficiently without a corresponding increase in costs or resources. It can be extended to larger geographies, operations or audiences.
Replicable
The idea can be easily repeated or reproduced in different contexts or locations with consistent results. It typically follows a clear and structured process, allowing others to implement it successfully without significant changes.
Sustainable
A sustainable idea is one that meets present needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own, balancing economic, social and environmental considerations.
Applications for projects that relate to a particular medicinal treatment or Amicus products are not permitted and will not be funded.
